Journey of Seeking Islamic Knowledge Academy

The establishment of JSIK Academy is a major step towards helping Muslims across the globe to fulfill the Prophet's command to seek knowledge of the religion based on Quran and Sunnah upon the understanding of asalafu-salih.

Currently, JSIK Academy provides various programs in two different campuses: Arabic and English. Each campus offers numerous courses and programs! Students have the opportunity to pursue one of the Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree programs.

Programs consist of recorded audios and/or video lectures, class notes and/or textbook in pdf format, along with periodic homework assignments. The syllabus is based on well-known and reputable Islamic institutions such as Al-Madinah University, Saudi Arabia.

Full time students are allowed to take five to seven subjects in each semester of four months duration. Part time students, on the other hand, are allowed to take two to four subjects in each semester.

Each course consists of homework assignments, one midterm exam after two and a half months of study, and a final examination at the end of the semester. Students can access their classes according to their convenience. However, assignments have to be turned in and exams have to be taken at fixed times.

Students may receive help through the JSIK Academy Mentoring Program. This program is designed to provide students with schoolwork help, homework advice, studying tips, and answers and advice to any questions they may have. We're here to help you any way we can.

In order to be admitted to one of the Diploma or Bachelor's Degree programs, the candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Must have a general high school or College certificate
• Must have a score of 60% or higher to pursue the Diploma
• Must have a score of 75% or higher to pursue the Bachelor's Degree
• Must have 2 Juz of Quran memorized
• Must pass certain admission tests if required
• Must have reliable Internet connection

For those who do not have a high school diploma, JSIK Academy has provided them with the opportunity to join one of the certificate programs, or enrol in single courses.
